Product Overview

Rimini’s wear layer is constructed from 4-millimeter solid European Oak hardwood and its core is comprised of two to nine-layer plywood. Chevron flooring is one of the most sought after hardwood choices in the US. All of these layers combined to result in a 5/8″(15mm) total plank thickness and each plank measuring to 4-3/4” in width.

Each box of Rimini contains 11.25 square feet of engineered hardwood. Wire bristles are used to remove the softer grain within the wood, which accentuates the harder grain and creates a beautifully textured surface with added character. Our flooring is constructed from layers of plywood, topped by a solid European Oak veneer.

      Hello David,

We would not suggest using it for this application as it could be difficult to maintain the oil-based floor if it is installed in the ceiling however we have had customers do their projects this way.

Please view our warranty first before this project.

      Thank you

Consider buying 10% More for Waste

Due to cuts, breaks and other waste when installing your tile, you should multiply the square footage of your area by 10% and purchase enough tile to cover this amount.
